The Rod Type switch-disconnectors of type C4 are for indoor installation in air insulated switchgear. Their switching capacity is sufficient to meet all the needs that occur under practical operating conditions. In particular they are suitable for on and off switch of:

 

  1. Transformers
  2. Capacitor banks
  3. Cables
  4. overhead lines
  5. open feeders and ring circuits under load and load conditions

 

With the switch in the off position there is always a visible isolating distance. The sliding blade principle permits the switches to be constructed with low overall depths. As they can be constructed with a very narrow profile, they permit extremely compact panel designs.

The compact switch-disconnector reliably switches all loads occurring in practice. Particularly transformers under load and no load, capacitors, cables, overhead lines, spur and ring lines under load and no load. This modular switching device - available as a switch-disconnector or combination switch-disconnector and fuses, with the add on option of an integrated earthing switch - leaves no wishes unfulfilled.
